12 hr day....1 baby
I want you to know I worked for that baby....!!!!!MAN~!....6#11oz. 18 inches long....screaming his head off.....after a little stimulation....came here in the usual fashion.....that means not a c/section.....cord wrapped around his neck so tight....had me calling the doctor every few minutes after watching the dang monitor alllllll ddddaaaayyyyy long....................wore me out...not to mention the lady was a hefty 300 lbs....whooohooo!...He came into the world at 6:18.....got home at 8....and decided...a run would do me good....sooooo
off i go...around that lake.....half moon shining over it tonight..and hotter..and more humid than i have been used to...could not get the breathing right for a little while...but then..yep there it is...that pace i love...the one where the road is moving on.....and i am too..........no one out tonight....the smell of downy fabric softener in the air...and the occasional dog barking off in the distance...........my mp3 playing somewhere over the rainbow....by faith hill......and toby keith with my list..and kellye clarkson..breakaway...rob thomas..i am an illusion...gooddd stuff...to listen to....and run to.......the knee did not bother me too bad..until the very end..when one of my neighbors saw me and wanted to stop to chat..............i enjoyed the chat but my knee stiffened up...and now..i am thinking ice and alleve will feel good...after a hot hot shower.........
it sounded like a good run today......sorry to hear that mark is trying to take out bridges.....but recovered enough to hang in there with that hateful elliptical....and matt.....what is going on....no creative juices.........and now...not getting up to run with the group...?!....i was hoping you were going to show off the kittens......i have already thought of one name....bobbie for one...gues which one....and i have to look at the other one to decide......i was working but i wanted to read the blogs about them....but nooooooo.....
and to Carol and Melissa...and whoever else wants to.....you are always welcome to come to vicksburg to run...but this beautiful lake i always talk about is probably only beautiful to me.......i find it comforting to run around my same old route....... the sunrise and sunset and the moon and the stars over it are the best.....but that is just me.......it is a constant ......
and to shawn and sunny...i missed ya'll today......
