Wed

Hey out there.....up at 5:15.....not too chipper this morning.....but up and at 'em....around the lake...no one out...this humidity is T-U-F-F!!!......did the 4:1 thing...good time for me........6 miles....70 min......the wind blew the first part of the run.....showed up on the lake making it look like one big ripple ...................no sun that early...or at least not one that i could see...................then on around the other part of the neighborhood.....past the walkers....it is flat here...and easier to run.......makes the last part bearable...because the humidity was getting to me.....almost got run over this morning..because my middle name is idiot..and i was thinking about other things and not cars......think i saw a birdy fly out of that window..i am not sure.....
the knees feel fine..the ice worked..and the aleve........and i have been trying to do a little better on the eating..not so much caffeine...and more water......more good stuff..not junk................

not a running note..but right as i was getting finished with my run.....watering some ferns...and walking around the yard......apparently something had rattled some deer in the nearby woods.....3 came charging out of the woods straight at me...i don't know who was more astonished me or them....thought i would have a heart attack right there...but they turned at the last minute stirred up every dog on my street.... i hope they made it to the woods on the other street....they have lived there all year....and some mornings...they look at me when i am running by...........and usually eat my impatiens.....that are around my trees...........
