hey....enjoyed the banquet Friday night....the food was good and the company great....so nice to see all of you and hear all of the familiar chit chat....

just ran around the lake.....not very fast..not really very good..in fact i hope none of my neighbors witness this 'run'..cause the mind was in the ditch...and i felt like i was running thro MUD!!!...so what i am trying to say the run sucked.....

but.....the day has been pretty good except for that.......
i will try again tomorrow...and go to work....looks like the moon is fixing to be full..sooooo guess we can expect a few babies....

Tuesday..

Just 3 this a.m....not tooo fassstttt either......late to bed...early to rise...BUT I did see that perfect line right above those dark trees....pink and orange ..over the hill.....with the street light shining in the fog.......

no walkers...where have they all gone...probably in their bed where i longed to be this morning....overall...good run....just not long enough or fast enough...but at least i am back in the groove again...

MONDAY MORNING

HIT the road this morning.....it was foggy all over so no stars that i could see......the lake was quiet...a few crickets or some such bug chirping out there somewhere......and me....pat, pat, pat....right on down the road......did the patti pace..cause the knee is still twinging..but felt like i had to get back to it................no walkers out....don't know where they have all gone....

The morning light hit about 3/4 around the circle...and it felt good to see all of my familiar places..with people getting started on a new week........the dogs were not out..and so didn't have to tip around that one well protected house...........the air was crisp and clean.......just right for this morning run.........all in all..it was a pretty good start to a busy day.....

oh yea!

well..sitting here eating my pasta salad...good stuff..and contemplating life....and now that i have done that....let's talk about the run...

just the 3 around the lake...my own path...the lake was still....and quiet....stars are twinkling up there..my neighbor informed me yesterday that mars was shining right by the moon....my 12 yr. old said it was good to see his brothers home planet...but i could not tell it from any other star...except maybe a little brighter...it felt good to be back out there...and i plan to make it a habit this week....to do at least the 3 around the lake........it is going to be a busy one..and i need the stress relief....

had a fender bender week before last..have to get the car fixed...and several other things...not so pleasant to deal with..............

went on some shopping therapy with Alice yesterday...........nothing better than good food, good shopping, and good conversation.....
