Saturday's run

The run was good yesterday...neat to see everyone excited and ready to do this thing we have all set our sites on.....
managed to get to my 15 yr. old's xcountry meet..at St. Andrew's....he did not do as well as he wanted but it was a hard course..and he has been too busy doing other things.....while there...saw Alice and Donna Shumate ...they wanted to know all about the run...and what had happened .....both of their kids are runners.......

i am ready to get this done.......the knee hurt some after the 10 miles.......i have been alleving and icing...i am trying to avoid the steroid shot..if i can..........i did so well on the last 20 mile run...i am hoping that i can rest it this week beforehand...and maybe i will be alright...i will see .....trying to eat well..and run a couple of times this week.....short easy runs.........i am ready.......

sunny and shawn and amanda and i are talking about doing a half marathon in December......if some of you want to do it with us.....we will let you know ......when it is time.......i am wondering if we can still blog after we finish......will you erase this mark...or not..?..............whatever...we can figure it all out........but first....the marathon...
